Where to park in Glasgow

If you’re planning a trip to Glasgow arriving by car from Edinburgh, the most convenient and efficient solution is to leave your car in a Park and Ride parking facility and continue by Subway.
This way, you can avoid city traffic and the Low Emission Zone (LEZ), saving time and money.
One of the most practical options is the Bridge Street Park and Ride, on Eglinton Street (1), located south of the city centre, in a strategic position for those arriving via the M8 or M74 motorways.
Glasgow’s Subway, with its circular route, allows quick access to the city centre.
The parking lot, adjacent to the Bridge Street Station, is spacious, secure, and well-signposted, with affordable daily rates.
At the Subway ticket office, you can buy both parking tickets and Subway tickets.
For reaching the historic centre, you can also walk, in the northern part of the city, the Subway is recommended.
For convenience, it’s advisable to buy a return ticket directly to avoid queues when returning.
Choosing Park and Ride is an excellent strategy for visiting Glasgow in a practical and sustainable way, without worrying about urban traffic or environmental restrictions.
